About this tour
The Ringstraße Loop in detail
The Ringstraße Loop gives the route a little more time. The Ringstraße was laid out from 1857 on the land where the old city walls stood, and the Parliament and the neo‑Gothic Votivkirche are two of its great buildings – we slow down to explain how the boulevard changed Vienna.
In the old town we take in the Freyung, Am Hof – the largest square in the inner city – and the palaces of Herrengasse before passing the Hofburg and Heldenplatz. You choose one photo stop along the way.
